America’s Got Talent: Extreme may be over, but the show just released a bonus performance from Verge Aero that we didn’t get to see during the season. The drone group earned the Golden Buzzer from judge Simon Cowell in the season premiere.

‘AGT: Extreme’ Releases Bonus Verge Aere Drone Show

In their first performance of the season, Verge Aero used 160 drones to create images in the sky that included the AGT logo. The group described their act as “like high tech fireworks.” Cowell said he usually dislikes drones, but he thought their performance was “spectacular.”

Cowell’s Golden Buzzer sent the group the finale, but they didn’t make it into the Top 4. If you were disappointed not to see another performance from them, you’re in luck. AGT: Extreme just released a bonus drone show that put host Terry Crews at the center of the action.

Crews stood in a cage on the ground underneath the drones, which formed various shapes including a flower, butterflies, hearts, and the American flag. The host looked up in awe at the colorful display as the audience cheered.

The Performance Wowed the Judges

Before the drone show, judge Travis Pastrana predicted that something would blow up as part of the performance. Cowell joked that he thought the group would lift Crews up into the air. Neither of those things happened, but they were still wowed by the act.

“I wanna be where Terry is!” Pastrana said as he watched, while Nikki Bella said, “That is beautiful!”

Bella was also delighted when the flower’s petal’s came apart and turned into butterflies. When the performance was over, Cowell gave the group a standing ovation, while Crews turned to the camera and said, “That was incredible!”

Verge Aero’s drone show might not be as dangerous as some of the other acts we saw on AGT: Extreme, but it’s still incredibly impressive.
