Dancing with the Stars has finally announced a premiere date for Season 32, along with a pretty big schedule change. While the show has historically aired on Monday nights, it will be moving to Tuesdays this season.
Dancing with the Stars Is Moving to Tuesdays
On Tuesday morning, Dancing with the Stars announced that Season 32 will be premiering on Tuesday, September 26. The show will air live on ABC and stream simultaneously on Disney+. Episodes will be available to watch the next day on Hulu.
Insider Kristyn Burtt previously predicted that the show would have a Tuesday premiere so as not to conflict with Monday Night Football. ABC had originally announced that the show would be returning to its usual Monday time slot this fall. According to Variety, it will now be on Tuesdays for the entire season.
Variety also reports that DWTS will have a special two-and-a-half-hour premiere on September 26, starting at 8 p.m. ET. The following week, the show will run for the usual two hours. DWTS hasn’t aired separate results shows in many years, so fans can expect eliminations to happen in the same episode as performances.

Who’s Competing on the Show This Season?
DWTS is expected to announce the entire Season 32 lineup of celebrities and their professional partners during Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 13. However, a few celebrities have already been confirmed as contestants.
The first celebrity to officially join the show was Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix. Then it was announced that The Bachelorette star Charity Lawson would also be competing. This week, Jamie Lynn Spears was announced as yet another cast member. She’ll be dancing with pro Alan Bersten.
Actress Mira Sorvino will also reportedly be competing this season, although the show has yet to officially confirm her involvement. We can’t wait to find out the full roster, including which pros will be back in the ballroom.
