Members of Fighting All Monsters, a support group for kids with cancer, made a video to Diddy’s song “Bad Boys For Life” hoping to get his attention. It got Ellen’s attention, and she set up a special surprise.
Diddy Surprises Kids Fighting Cancer On ‘Ellen’
Ellen spoke to eight members of Fighting All Monsters on her show. They explained that the song inspired them with its lyrics about surviving, as they declared that they “ain’t going anywhere.”
The host told the kids that Diddy couldn’t be there in person because he was touring, but she played a video message from him. Later, Ellen acted like she had the dates wrong, and announced that Diddy was actually there to see them.

The kids ran to give him hugs, and they danced up onto the stage together to talk to Ellen. The rapper said he was “touched” that his song meant so much to them. Ellen announced that Shutterfly was donating $25,000 to their organization.
Diddy and the kids wrapped up their appearance on the show by dancing together to “Bad Boys For Life.”

During his appearance, Diddy also talked about his new Making the Band reboot. The original version of the show produced bands like Danity Kane. The star shared a phone number (917-746-1444) where people can text their auditions if they can’t make it to a casting call.

Diddy also recently announced that his sons Christian, Quincy, and Justin will be judges on the show. According to Entertainment Weekly, casting calls will take place in Atlanta (February 28-29), Houston (March 6-7), Charlotte (March 13-14), and New York City (March 21-22).
