The Voice coach John Legend has a new song out called “Tomorrow,” in collaboration with rapper Nas and Pablo Picasso’s great-grandson, DJ and producer Florian Picasso. The track is included with a series of new NFTs featuring the iconic artist’s work.
John Legend Releases New Song ‘Tomorrow’
This isn’t Legend’s first song called “Tomorrow.” He had a track by that name on his 2013 album Love in the Future, but this new one is different. The breezy song has plenty of feel-good vibes, with Legend singing, “Hello to tomorrow / Hello to tomorrow / Can’t wait to get started / Can’t wait for tomorrow, tomorrow.”
Nas chimes in for two separate rap verses, and he even name-drops Legend and Picasso. “Pablo Picasso, art and Nasir,” he raps in the second verse. “John Legend, y’all take a deep breath / And inhale what this is givin’.”
The song was produced to go along with a new project from Florian Picasso and his mother Marina (Pablo Picasso’s granddaughter) featuring NFTs inspired by a piece of art created by the legendary artist.

Legend’s Song Is Included with New Picasso NFTS
According to Forbes, the new NFTs are inspired by a ceramic bowl Picasso created in 1958 which has been in the private collection of Marina and Florian and hasn’t been seen publicly. The series of 1,010 NFTs hit the market last week.
The artworks are being auctioned off in five sets of 200, titled “Visage de Couleur,” for 2Ethereum, now listed at $5,932, through the Picasso family’s market Man and the Beat. Another set of 10, titled “Visage de Lumiere,” were released as a ranked auction for 24 hours via Nifty Gateway, with part of the proceeds going to Nurse Heroes and Carbon180.
“John sat and looked at a Picasso image that Florian shared in LA, and was inspired to write the song’s main line and piano,” producer Stuart Price explained to Forbes. “Afterwards the song went to New York where the beat took shape, then to London for a different perspective, before finally coming back to LA for the strings, and Nas to write the missing chapter.”
