America’s Got Talent has shared an early release audition from next Tuesday’s new episode of Season 18, featuring the dog act Heather and Bogart. Bogart is a three-legged dog who showed off some amazing agility tricks that had the judges smiling.
Dog Act Heather and Bogart Appears in AGT Early Release
Before their audition, Heather shared Bogart’s story. She explained that she and her partner met Bogart when they were volunteering at an animal shelter. He had been rescued from a kill shelter but for some reason hadn’t been adopted.
They took Bogart home and discovered that he “excelled at training.” Eventually, however, they discovered a bump on Bogart’s leg, which turned out to be cancer. He had his leg amputated, and he took some time to get back to his old self.
“We would just love to show America that dogs can go through anything and still go out and do what they love,” Heather told the judges.
For their audition, Bogart ran through an obstacle course performing tricks. At one point, he brought Heather a poster that read, “Bogart Loves Simon.” The judges couldn’t stop smiling as they watched the performance.

What Did the Judges Think of the Audition?
“I have a feeling Bogart is going to be a big hit on America’s Got Talent,” judge Heidi Klum said after the performance. “And I have to tell you, I totally forgot that he was just on three legs. You really don’t notice anymore, because he just moves like any other dog.”
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell said, “I love Bogart.” He told Heather, “You are obviously such a nice, kind person to rescue him. And he’s so happy. It’s just an amazing story.”
There was a funny moment while Howie Mandel was sharing his thoughts when Bogart lay down on the floor as if he was bored. However, once the judges started voting “yes” to sending him through, he perked up.
Heather and Bogart received four “yes” votes to move on. You can catch their audition during Tuesday’s new episode of AGT at 8/7c on NBC.
