TikTok star Mahak Hamid is a contestant on next Tuesday’s season finale episode of Dancing With Myself. Mahak has over a million followers on the platform, and she recently teased her appearance on Instagram.
Mahak Hamid to Appear on Dancing with Myself
“Catch me on Dancing With Myself this Tuesday July 19th 10/9c on @nbc!” Mahak wrote on Instagram this week, alongside three photos showing her on the set of the show. In one shot, she appears with fellow TikToker Destiny Williams.
Mahak also gave a shoutout to the “11 other incredible people” who will be appearing on Tuesday night’s episode, which is the season finale. She added, “hi guys i miss you.”
Dancing With Myself is inspired by TikTok dance trends, so it makes sense that some creators from the platform are among this season’s competitors. Other popular TikTokers who appeared this season include Zack Lugo and Keara Wilson.
The premise of the show is that each dancer (many of them amateurs) learns the same dance routine from one of the celebrity judges, and they perform it in separate pods, adding their own flair.

Mahak Has Over a Million TikTok Followers
Mahak definitely has experience learning choreography and dancing on her own. The 19-year-old from California currently has 1.7 million followers on TikTok, where she frequently posts dance videos. Some of her posts have racked up millions of views, and she has over 80 million likes on her account.
The dancer is also comfortable performing in public, as she’s posted dance videos filmed at the mall and in the grocery store. Mahak also grew up in a Persian family, and she sometimes shares videos about her culture, including Farsi language lessons.
In addition to TikTok, Mahak has a YouTube channel where she posts vlogs and choreography videos. In May of this year, she posted a concept video for the Melanie Martinez song “Cake.”
