The special was produced by SNL mastermind Lorne Michaels and delivered impressive ratings, drawing 6.3 million viewers and becoming the number one trending NYE program on Twitter.
Cyrus loved her New Year’s Eve production and praised Lorne Michaels for his talent in assembling shows on short notice. She believes people enjoy authentic and relatable entertainment, which is evident from the high ratings of her show.
So far, neither the “Wrecking Ball” singer nor NBC has confirmed if Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party will be back for a third consecutive year in 2023. However, given the immense success of her past two holiday outings, hopes are high among devotees.
